This cheerful and delightful book landed on my desk a few days ago and its cute cover and the title tempted me to open and read it immediately.
Frankly, it is the most gorgeous book, filled with light hearted moments and oodles of fun as Harry's Gran invites him to choose what kind of cake they should bake together.
While it shows the importance of children involved in the decision making of baking a cake, or anything else for that matter, it is a book for young children and their parents or grandparents, especially Grans to enjoy together. It may just inspire younger kids to want to speak with Gran about baking a cake.
The illustrations are perfectly matched to the words, they compliment each other with the light airy feel of the colours and the story.
I loved the book, it is a terrific one for grandparents, parents, aunts or uncles to give to your little one aged 4+ and be prepared to for some baking!
