This is a lively, fun story about a large or no, humungous family of three generations and that all live together in a tiny house with their pets. They never have enough room, there is never a quiet time, there is only one toilet shared between them.
It is a delightful story of how this family manage to get on despite their grievances and longing for a much larger home. Told in picture book format with calm pastel illustrations it is delight to read despite the squabbles over dad hogging the tv remote, all sleeping in one bedroom and sharing one car.
One evening the Humdingles are sitting outside on their chair looking up at the dark sky and wishing they had a big house when all of a sudden... their dreams are answered. They can't believe their luck, but are they all happy? You will have to find out, in tis story that emphases sharing and empathy, love for one another and so much more.
