A picture book to encourage young readers, ages 4+ to be aware and more observant on their visit to the beach. The cutouts and opening double pages and detailed illustrations will keep them enthralled.
The words highlight what you can find as you walk along the beach at the high tide line and the low tide line seeing what has washed ashore from the sea. Within the beautiful illustrations readers will need to find the words hidden amongst the objects which are sometimes difficult to find because the small text swirls around some of them and they can blend in with the background. See if you can find the sea urchins, the shark's eggs, ghost crabs and cuttlefish, limpets and barnacles while noticing the big beautiful boulders.
The surprising cut outs reveal more sea creatures and secret words. The drawings are superb and there is a lovely big surprise towards the end.
