He doesn't want to support the Red Team, he supports the Blue Team, in his private thoughts. So when the whole family go to the game that's when things can become complicated as outwardly he supports the Red Team, while actually checking to see how the BlueTeam are faring. When it's Colours Day, yes, he is wearing blue and he wears Blue Team colours to bed.

It becomes a little tricky on.match day as they are all supporting Red Team and he is really saying "go Blue Team", It is good to see that he is staying true to himself. He is the odd one out, he does what he feels is right and still supports the Blue Team.

When mum and dad realise how he prefer another team, like the loving parents that they are he feels their warmth and support of whatever team he is on.
