Mac Fleetwood Cooper, yes that's his name and his little brother Stevie, named after Stevie Nicks live with their mum who wants them to appreciate REAL music, she says rock music is the only music worth listening to. Their Morning Mum is totally different fro their normal mum says Mac.

In his last year of primary school, Mac is dreading going to high school, but in the meantime Principal Keiren plans to cut all of the arts classes. Mac and his friend Flynn have other plans, because there's no way that's going to happen.

This is a good fun story about two friends, a whole lot of music and what they can do to create their school, Watterson Primary's musical. A good book showing what can be done for ages 9 and over.
