Next and fifth in this series of gorgeous stores Willa and Woof we find that Willa is getting up to some antics as she is preparing to enter the Tournament of the Ages. The tournament is. a game of the local kids vs the residents of the Sunset Views Retirement Village

She is so enthusiastic and comes up with all sorts of ideas to help conjure up gymnastics equipment that she doesn't have so she can be her best.

Unfortunately not all her ideas work that well. Her best old-age friend Frank and neighbour hears her distress when practising. Just like any good friend would, Frank  rushes over to help and he and Willa's mum decide that this isn't such a good idea after all.

As for her best Woof, well he only wakes up from his dozing when he hears her cry out. So what's to be done?

Willa's helping plan the event, but she's got a bit of trouble ahead because one of the older kids on the planning committee doesn't want her there and Willa has no idea why. This older kid is a bit of bully and thinks she's the boss. But then so is her mum who is the president of the school P&C who also thinks she's the boss of the parents. This doesn't pose too much of.a problem for Willa and Woof and her friends.

But added to all this planning and preparation Willa who loves gymnastics is also needs to find  time to train for her first ever proper gymnastics competition. Will she find the time, she is just so busy. This is an ideal next book for all the Willa and Woof fans and to encourage reading through fun-filled adventures and friendships.
