Mums are often not appreciated for the many things that they do each and every day. Through koala's story thanking mum for each thing they do young readers, aged 3 -6 will become aware of the things that are probably taken for granted, most likely not intentionally.
This is a lovely, kind book with cute illustrations as Koala thinks about all the things that mum does for her.
Koala soon realises that mum is a Super-Mum and the best one she has ever had from the day of birth until now. She makes breakfasts, sees that their clothes are keen, goes to school concerts, ensures they have everything for school and sporting occasions, reminds Koala to write thank you letters, helps find missing clothing and so much more, realising that mum is the best!
The use of the lazy word "gonna' is used twice instead of going to, which is not a good example of language. Setting this aside My Mum Is The Best is a delightful picture book to share with young readers.
