This beautifully designed and illustrated book tells a story that is sad and hopeful.

A story of a Gargoyle representing different stages of existence as he has been forced off his rooftop to make way for a new building development. The rooftop was his home for a long time.

He makes his way, together with a very heavy suitcase to Central Station and boards an over crowded train where a young boy notices how sad and broken he looks. The boy is aware of the importance of Gargoyle's suitcase drawing it closer to himself while it leaks rusty water over the carriage floor.

Other passengers aren't happy about the water or what they see, but the boy is caring and feels that if he had seat on the busy train he would give it to the Gargoyle. At the next stop Gargoyle has to leave and the boy sees the suitcase has been mistakenly left behind. What's In it? He decides to open it and is pleasantly surprised, it's magical and be begins to imagine all sorts of emotions and beautiful places.

A sympathetically written and beautifully poignant story.

Although this is available in print or as an ebook, I recommend getting the print version.
