This last year of school is also the year she falls in love for the first time and discovers her real identity and heritage. Josephine lives with her hardworking mother, mama and sees her nona (grandmother) after school most days with whom she likes to talk and find out more about her grandmother's past and when she arrived in Queensland from Italy.
