Hannah and her friends decide to play the game Spirit of the Coin.But then they began playing the last thing that they expected was to unleash anything evil. Hannah soon finds that she is experiencing some rather unfortunate accidents. When these happen she wonders if there is anyway she can escape the curse?

I have seen Read At Your Own Risk as darkly funny but it is light hearted fun reading. The illustrations are simple, child-like drawings, but perfectly suited to telling the story with some hair raising expressions to enhance the written words.

Readers will find out the meanings of some words which are taken from Greek with good explanations that may also help improve vocabulary.

A good fun, funny story that would make a good gift.
