Digging Up Dad

And Other Hopefully (and funny) Stories

by Morris Gleitzman
Published by Penguin Random House
ISBN 9781760890940

Morris Gleitzman is one of Australia's favourite children's book writer and it's not hard to see why when you read the first few page of this latest book.

Some of the stories are hilariously funny but the story telling is wonderfully engaging that it keeps readers wanting to keep turning those pages to find out what is going to happen next.

The title story, Digging Up Dad isn't quite what was expected and without giving any spoilers here it really is a good story when the small family find out they are going to have to move home.

What happens next?

There are a few good short story titles based on a play on words such as Burger Buns Behaving Badly, Does My Mum Look Big in This? There are adventures in Canberra, trips to the beach, fun at the dance and drama group, all good easy to read stories and helping encouraging readers to get lost in good fun, engaging short stories.
