Nobody Likes Monday

On the surface it seems that some days are better than others, but is this just a perception or is this real?

Using days of the week to portray that others are better than yourself is a empathetic and clever way of showing readers that you are just as good if not better than others.

The story is humorous and the illustrations compliment the story, especially Mondays and all days of the weeks expressions.

Monday thinks she should just stay in bed because nobody likes a Monday, or how about swapping with another day of the week. When Monday speaks to Tuesday there's no way that's going to happen. As Tuesday tells Monday, just think about it, Tuesdays have so much going for it, Taco Tuesday, Pancake Tuesday, but Monday says you can have yummy food on a Monday too. Wednesday says no, thanks, Wednesdays are for dreaming and so each day of the week tells Monday why their day of the week is better. Monday soon realises that actually Mondays are pretty good days too!

Illustrated in appealing and calming colours with a kind story is a terrific book for ages 4 - 8 year olds.
