Specky Magee is crazy about Aussie Rules, it dominates his thoughts, so how come he is the only one in his family who loves it? Mum and dad aren't interested, his sister things he it's a waste of time and is frequently trying to get him to stop hogging the computer while he's looking for information on Rules or chatting to his friends on the phone.

Specky found a photo of himself taken when he was a baby, dressed in footy clothes and he wants to know more about this because it just doesn't fit in with his family. He goes searching for answers, speaks to his friends, an adoption agency and his parents. When he doesn't find the answers he starts making assumptions with one of his good friends. They have a plan, but will it work out, will he get the answer he is seeking?

Then there are the older bullies Specky and his friends have to deal with on the football field. They soon stop bothering the boys when they are they see how good Specky is and his abilities.

This 20th anniversary story would make a good gift for kids who love sport, dealing with all sorts of situations, or simply just like a good intriguing and humorous story. They won't want to put the book down.
