Although this book is designed as a picture book for younger children, ages 6+ there are explanations of gravity that would also appeal to older age groups.

For young readers who want to know how things work and why things happen such as when you let go of an item it falls, sometimes on your head if you're not careful, this picture book is ideal. The illustrations are fun and light hearted helping to visually explain gravity in sync with the story. Sir Isaac Newton and Einstein and their experiments with gravity are briefly mentioned.

Several examples are given, with explanations about the lack of gravity in space, what happens when a feather and a hammer are dropped and how they both hit the ground at the same time. There are also ideas for experiments - all quite safe that will make learning about gravity fun.

It's an ideal book for the younger curious mind. The author, Kate Simpson, is a chemical engineer, podcaster and author who believes that curiosity can change the world.
