Have you heard of a moon tree?

It a special variety of tree, that grows from the seeds taken from the 1971 Apollo mission into space. In this tender heartfelt story you will find out about a combination of believing in magic, science and most importantly love. Love as in how important it is and how it can heal.

The search for the moon tree is important for Carina Sugden.

Finding one is something she must do because her father taught her all about them, but he passed away before they could find one together.

To help the family heal, Carina's mum decide they should move home to a small town in the Otway Ranges where her search for a moon tree becomes her passion. Before long she takes on the mindset of a scientist when she goes Moon Tree hunting in the forest near her new home.

Carina soon finds out that magic really does exist. It is a beautifully written story, widening the reader's vocabulary  as Carina interacts with family, school friends and people around her with some gory bits that kids love. There's also the burning question, will she be able to see her dad again, just one more time?
