Coco The Fish With Hands

by Aleesah Darlison

ISBN 9781760899226

A delightfully illustrated hard cover picture book for emerging readers about an endangered fish with hands called Coco.

Coco is one of a special species of fish only found in Tasmania's Derwent River Estuary near Hobart. Remarkably only 300 of these fish remain.

The story takes the reader on a journey of these fish that use their hands to walk along the ocean bed and they'll soon discover that these "hands" are in fact small fins. The way in which the story is told of their lifecycle and how they live and breed will endear these fish to the young reader, showing why we all need to take good care of our oceans and the environment.
