Just imagine you are in 2088 and living in a space station. Misty Space Station is where 11 year old Nash an his dad Orson live. Sounds pretty exciting and we found that this story has all the elements for an intriguing science fiction story for ages 7 - 12.
Nash's best friends KC and Raj are on a holiday the holiday spaceship.
Suddenly a distress signal is received on Misty Space Station from a colony of researchers and scientists living on Mars and Captain Malik decides to send an urgent supply mission.
Things become a bit hairy when it's realised the only way they can reach Nash and his brilliant dad Orson, is via a special supply mission, but Mars is a long way to go.
This story is so well written we could feel the excitement and the anxious moments as the Space Kids try desperately using all the latest technology which has changed or shall we say improved a lot by 2088 to rescue the pair.
The importance of teamwork, courage and belief in what you are doing is clear, plus if they are to succeed they need to be resourceful.
Not only is this a good little story, it imparts good positive ideas in a gripping story to readers and the small number of illustrations helps the reader capture the visual story in the minds eye.
