She knows she'd gallop all day and take part in parades, really enjoying her life and family.

She imagines that her young human friend would be her sister and tells a story of what she would do to help her sister, such as taking her to school and going home when she was hungry to join the family at meal times.

Written by Caldecott Medallist Sophie Blackall, young readers can read about their fun-filled days together as they find all sorts of interesting things in the illustrations and, perhaps imagine how it would be with a horse for a friend.
