In this debut novel by Sloan Harlow, get ready for gripping and intriguing reading.

When Ella's best fiend, Hayley died several months ago it left her a large gap in her life.

It also left her with many memories. To Ella it seems that wherever she looks there are reminders of her Hayley, especially with Sawyer, Hayley's ooyfriend.

As Hayley and Sawyer seek comfort, they turn to one another and soon find they are growing closer to one another. This isn't what Hayley expected and now she feels a sense of guilt.

This is an easy to read story at times emotional expressing Hayley's way of dealing with the loss, guilt and anxiety,

When Hayley finds Ella's journal she is surprised to read about Sawyer, her reaction of feeling terrified is easy to understand, but somehow this does't feel right. Hayley wonders what is going on because this doesn't seem to be the person she is growing to know on a more personal level.

Sawyer seems to be a kind, thoughtful person, but is he? She finds that she has to make a choice, a big decision and which one will she choose? As a reader you ca. feel the tension mount, there could be dire consequences if she makes the wrong one, but which is the wrong one? I will leave that for you to find out - no spoilers here.
