illustrated by Carmen Dougherty
A helpful picture book for very young readers, ideally for an older sibling or parent to read with them as they learn the differences between objects and what to call them when there are more than one of the same, or similar.
It is colourfully illustrated to appeal to this age group with clear easy drawings of every day objects that we come across.
Similar items begin such as counting books and then moving onto bikes and scooters, asking the question, are they scoobers? Similarly are a number of chairs and tables, chables? It is seems to make sense, what about apples and oranges, could they be orples?
An ideal book for learning to count and not confusing with a challenge when putting similar objects together. This is a useful resource for preschools and the home library.
