There's A Rock Concert in My Bedroom

What a fun home this must be for young Emma and her supportive family.

She loves music and she loves dancing. Emma is learning to play the guitar and although she's not good at it yet, she's learning and improving all the time.

She practices each day with her dad and when Emma sees a notice on the board at school for the talent competition she is excited to enter it.  But when her confidence wanes her loving sister gives her a lucky charm.

Moments of self-doubt creep in as she thinks about all the other kids and their talents.

Wistfully she thinks about Luis and the tricks he is teaching his dog, Jamila's gymnastics and Wendy's amazing ability to guess the right card every time. She compares herself to lion taming, Olympic tumbling and the talents the other kids have.

But Emma's has the support and encouragement from her mum and dad. Instead of quitting, she realises she needs to practice and involve her whole family. What they get up to! It works, Emma regains her confidence and becomes the star of the show.

A good picture story book that also helps boost confidence in younger children, by international music star Kevin Jonas and his wife, Danielle Jonas, showing what happens when facing your fears. The fun illustrations compliment and are a true partner to the story.

Written by Kevin Jonas is a father, actor, investor, philanthropist and one third of Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum pop band Jonas Brothers and his wife Danielle Jonas, tv personality, actress and founder of jewellery company Danielle Jonas.
