Oliver is Simon Casey's best friend, but he is lost, Lost in time,

Oliver's dad is an inventor, although not a very good done. He has been inventing for years has many failed inventions but now he has created a time machine, well it sort of works.

Sort of work for time travel is not exactly what anyone wants so now  Oliver is lost in time. This adventure is about how the group of friends are  going to get their friend back again.

Somehow they have to do this without destroying the universe. Thanks to an older version of Oliver which he calls Old Oliver he must go back to 1964 to rescue twelve year old Oliver and stop an old woman from stealing a powerful artefact and taking over the world.

As for his dad, the hapless inventor, of course he regrets what's happened and can't stop apologising for his misguided invention for time travel.

The story is set in various places around Australia, such as a secret passage under the botanical garden in Melbourne, in Cooper's Creek, in Queensland finding a fossilised dinosaur. Further into the story the friends are standing high on a hill and below them they see The Lost City and Oliver's dad looks on in awe, could this be another Atlantis?

This is an adventure packed illustrated story with multiple twists and turns for middle grade readers.
