One Book Was All It Took

A cute and fun story about Violet loves to read but can't find any books that she hasn't read before. Now she's heard about libraries but her town doesn't have one.

She knows that libraries are filled books that can take you on adventures and if only her town had a library she would never run out of these adventures.

Before you know it she's started the ball rolling with just one book.

Violet actions trigger a chain of events and the whole town becomes involved. It becomes chaotic but it does work and soon enough her town has a fun-filled library where all the children can enjoy an adventure through reading.

The playful illustrations compliment the story perfectly, young readers will enjoy this adventure and have a good laugh while learning what one person can do with the help of others.

I particularly love that young readers will find out what wonderful places libraries are and how they can encourage and help boost literacy.

London born and now resident in Brisbane, Wenda Shurety is a children’s author who loves to write stories from the heart about nature, diversity and the magical world of the imagination.
