Are you always trying to fit in? Here we see young Carly keen to join the Cartwheel Club. She sees her friends having fun and wants to join them. Trials for the club are held every Monday as new members can only be admitted if their cartwheels are good enough. Carly tries to join but is told her cartwheels aren't right. Carly tries for a few weeks, hoping that Emma will approve, but it's only after putting in a lot of practice she finds her cartwheels are eventually deemed good enough to join and she is accepted into the Cartwheel Club.

Carly is happy that she can join. The next day she goes along to Cartwheel Club to find they're doing a different type of cartwheel that she can't do and she battles on trying and this continues all week long. BY the weekend she's tired from doing all the different styles of cartwheels. Carly learns that trying to fit can be difficult and that maybe trying to fit in isn't always the best thing to do. Finding people like yourself is much nicer and makes her happier. Things aren't always as they seem on the surface.

A pleasantly illustrated, hard cover picture book to read with ages 6+.
